Web development for kids - Introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Designing a website at an early age can be very vital and advantageous for a child. There will be a great and healthy experience in teaching a kid to design websites. You will realize the strong bonding opportunity with younger developers at some point. Most people think that it can be complex to let your child learn web development or it is complicated to teach middle school students markup language HTML. We should understand that the hobby of coding doesn't go beyond the reach of kids' minds but also it prepares them to do a big thing in their life and career.
Kids want to explore the things in their own way. So try to expose them about technology, computers, web page and workplace. Let the child ask a lot of questions about anything. It doesn't matter how complicated it seems. Try to explain coding to kids with fun. Always remember that it will develop a teaching experience and will lead to excellence. Children are usually curious and want to explore everything quickly.

Web development is easy to understand but a bit long subject that includes HTML(markup language), CSS and Javascript, which is the biggest part of the course.
What age kids can start learning Web Development?
If your child has coding experience (at Kiddy Coders or somewhere else) he can switch to Web Development at the age of 10 already. Otherwise 12-13 y.o. Is a good time to start.
We have students who have moved from Scratch course to Web Development and easily understand the concept.
Web Development

HTML(HyperText Markup Language)
The abbreviation of HTML is HyperText Markup Language. Tim Berners-Lee developed the language in the 1990s. No doubt, there are a lot of changes that occurred in HTML since the 1990s. HTML is basically a hidden code used to build a communication link on the worldwide web(www). A programmer uses "tags" to the text in order to create the webpage on how to set up structure and graphics. There are three important parts included in the HTML including main heading, paragraph, and bullet list. There is no need to install any specific software for HTML. You can design a simple webpage using notepad on windows and TextEdit on MAC.
CSS(Cascading Style Sheets)
CSS used to give styles on our HTML webpage including font colors, margin, height, width, background, images, lines, position, layout and all types of visual aspects. We need to link the HTML and CSS together in order to apply different formatting on our webpage. In more simple words, CSS decides how the HTML webpage should look like.

Even though there are a lot of browsers with different versions. CSS stills support each browser and each version of browsers. It is good to check your webpage appearance on all browsers. So we can get to know the errors and layout of each browser. We consider CSS a powerful tool as compared to HTML that can change the mood and tone of your webpage more efficiently.
JavaScript
Java script is a light-hearted and playful language that makes your website dynamic, interactive and professional. Kids love to see easy and funny illustrations using javascript step by step. kIds begin to learn javascript basics like string, arrays, and loops. After they hold a grip on the basics, they move on to advanced topics like building interactivity with jQuery and drawing graphics with Canvas. Kids enjoy seeing illustrations like bouncing balls, animated bees, calculator, clock, animated navigator toggle, and racing cars, etc
The challenging topic stretches the minds of the children and force them to create unique projects using javascript.
Web Development Uses and Career
The usage of web development ranges from a simple text-based webpage to complicated web-based, electronic, business or eCommerce applications. You never stop learning in the field of web development.
